Dig a hole for your Currant nursery stock
Dig a hole 1 1/2 to 2 times larger than the nursery stock container. When taken out of the container the root ball should be loosely broken up so the soil falls away from the end of the roots.
Cover the currant rootball with soil
Cover the currant rootball with soil working in 1-2" of composted material or peat moss.
